50Cycles has picked up an award from Kalkhoff naming it ‘distributor of the year’ for the electric bike brand.
Both increased sales figures and teamwork were touted as being key to 50Cycles recognition and CEO Scott Snaith told BikeBiz: “We’re very proud to pick up this award and the fact Kalkhoff e-bikes are the best on the market and provide bikes with the longest range really helps. We couldn’t do it without the thousand of discerning customers who have chosen our bikes over the years”.
On the back of their recent success they have decided to make the Kalkhoff range of bikes available to dealers for a limited period during October when IBD’s will be able to register as Kalkhoff preferred dealers. It will be announced over the coming weeks where and when they will provide open days for prospective dealers to test ride and order bikes for the year ahead.
“There are some really exciting developments in next years 2012 models and we feel there is no need for a customer to own any other electric bike other than a Kalkhoff here in the UK,” says Snaith.
