Brand now sponsors UK triathlon team Sketchers ActivInstinct Performance

Airstreeem 2014 frames to launch at Cycle Show

Hot on the heels of the announcement that Airstreeem will become official bike and wheel sponsor of triathlon racing team The Sketchers ActivInstinct Performance Team for the remainder of the 2013 season and the 2014 season, the brand has launched its 2014 range.

The Austrian brand first arrived in the UK market earlier this year and was established in 2008 by pro cyclist Stefan Probst.

The new line-up includes nine handmade frames, built in-house from T1000 carbon fibre, aimed at serious riders. Available in bright and ‘daring’ colour schemes and feature a 50mm Carbon Clincher for 2014 – weighing only 1,220g, the Carbon Aero 50mm Superlight is exceptionally stiff with smooth hubs, straight pull spokes and Airstreeem’s patented asymmetrical rear spoke triangle.

Other range highlights include the new UCI Certified “Race-AIR”, a frame that Airstreem said is ‘one of the stiffest, most agile and responsive available on the market’, that is ‘built with materials offered by only a handful of top manufacturers’.

Also new for 2014 is the Alulight, built from quality 6069 aluminium and complemented with carbon forks. Light and stable with comfortable geometry the complete bike weighs less than 7kg. All Airstreeem 2014 frames continue to come with an unprecedented 12-year guarantee and two years crash replacement support.
