Bell has unveiled the new Gage helmet as a world exclusive at Madison’s iceBike*, taking place this week (finishing today, Thursday Feb 23rd).
The Gage is a race-bred helmet weighing in at an ultra-light 233 grams. Featuring 26 vents this new helmet benefits from a number of Bell technologies including the TAG Fit System and X-Static Padding. Based around a Fusion In-Mould Microshell, the Gage is further enhanced by lightweight Internal Reinforcement.
The helmet is named after Gage Avenue in the town of Bell, just outside Los Angles – the site of what’s said to be the world’s first automotive speed shop, “Bell Auto Parts”.
Expected to be available in the UK during the summer, the Gage comes in a variety of different colour options, including a special limited edition model in the colours of the BMC team.RRP is £159.99 and the helmet is available in the UK and Ireland through Madison.
