BMW cruises into Cycle Show 2013

BMW will be exhibiting at the NEC Cycle Show 2013, showcasing its 2013 bicycle range, from hybrids to full suspension MTBs and a full carbon road bike.

BMW’s Cruise bikes were first seen last summer, escorting the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay.

In BMW’s own words, the Cruise range is: "Stylish, high quality, light. The frame’s ergonomic design ensures optimal weight distribution. The tilt degree of the fork and wheel base guarantee smooth riding performance with an optimal ratio of stability and agility. High torsional stiffness and an individually adjustable stem guarantee top comfort on this sophisticated sports product. Elegant appearance with smooth-welded seams and cable ducts through the frame, high-quality adjustable fork and precise Shimano Alivio 27-gear derailleur."

BMW’s ‘all mountain’ MTB retails at £2,995, the M Carbon Racer at £2,499 and the Cruise at £899. There’s also a £1,299 tourer, a £429 junior and a £245 kids bike.

At Cycle Show 2013 BMW will have a retail element to its stand, retailing BMW bike accessories (helmets, rucksacks, gloves, locks etc), BMW branded clothing and accessories (caps, keyrings etc) and kids toys including Bay Racers and remote control cars.

Trade and press registration is now open at Cycle Show’s site.
