And firm is heading to the NEC Cycle Show this September

ByoCycles switches from internet sales and boosts dealer network

Not only has ByoCycles just reached 35 retailers in its dealer network, but the company is also breaking its own sales records, it told BikeBiz.

This year saw the firm make a sea change in the way it does business, shunning internet and direct dales, instead concentrating on a new dealer network.

Since October 2011, ByoCycles has worked on this new strategy, recently securing the 35th member of its dealer network, with the ‘ByoCycle Gold’ full service centre.

The firm said it isn’t aiming to have hundreds of dealers as it ‘wants to keep everyone happy with exclusive areas to operate within. "Our main aim is to create a strong bond with our dealers to ensure a lasting relationship," it said.

"Whilst the start of the year appeared slow in the bike industry, ByoCycles sales were breaking company records. The new marketing and recent shows such as East of England Electric Bike Rally in Great Yarmouth and the Big Green festival in Bristol are generating more sales calls than have ever been received, the team here at ByoCycles has expanded due to the recent success."

ByoCycles now only sells through its dealer network, so all sales calls that come through are passed to the nearest dealer, boosting service and sales advice for customers.

The firm has confirmed it is exhibiting at this year’s Cycle Show at the NEC, Birmingham, with prizes on offer.
