Held from the 25th to 28th of September at the NEC in Birmingham, Cycle Show starts with the trade day on Thursday September 25th. Trade and press can register for free at www.cycleshow.co.uk/trade

Celebrating its 40th anniversary, Moore Large is offering free drinks at 4pm on the trade day. Form an orderly queue.

Sticking with Moore Large, Moda (which runs a two year season) will see its new 2015 range launch. Cycle Show will see us previews of a handfull of new models as well as updated versions of some of the favourites, with the intention of launching the full range with stock available at the Moore Large Industry Geared show in March. Alongside the new models there will have some big offers on remaining 2013 stock on Thursday’s trade day.

Forme has a new product development team in place. The re-focused and re-tuned 2015 range will have new frame designs for the Longcliffe, Peak Trail, Sterndale and new gravel and MTB models at key price points. The brand said: "We expect a fantastic reaction to the new look Forme. Again as with Moda we will have some amazing offers on remaining 2014 stock on the trade day and look forward to dealer and consumer reaction to the teams hard work."

The Gaadi is an easy-change tube from Rubena, which enables cyclist on the go to change a tyre without the hassle of removing the wheel. How so? The new Gaadi tube features an open-loop system that allows the rider to simply remove the sidewall of the tyre from the rim, remove the old tube and insert the open-loop tube into the tyre. The wheel is then rotated all of the way around until the ends meet. The tube will retail for around £12 and although made primarily for E-bikes, can be used on any bike with a size range from 20” to 29er. Trade enquiries should be directed to Rubena’s UK distributor Bike Tyrestore on Freephone 0800 281413. Or over on stand A7.

The Electric Bike Corporation is launching Bergamont E-Bikes at the NEC (that’s the e-bikes only – Bergamont non e-bikes are still distributed through Reece Cycles). Offering e-bikes for commuting, leisure or the trails, there will be 11 bikes on Stand H131 in Hall 12 at the show, as well as several bikes on the Demo Track. Available to demo will be the top of the range Bergamont E – line C MGN with Nuvinci N360 Planetary hub gear, Gates Carbon Drive and SRAM XO Hydraulic Brakes, SRP £3,000.

EBC has been nominated for a BikeBiz Award for the third year in a row. EBC’s Paul Stanforth said: "Introducing Bergamont electric bikes into the UK is an exciting development for EBC who see themselves as the leading UK company in both distribution and service in this rapidly growing sector. As electric bikes become more main stream and off road performance e-bikes are gaining a real foot hold, Bergamont’s range of German Engineered high specced and highly developed has an electric bike for everyone."

Cube will be at the NEC too, with a presence at the road, MTB and kids test tracks as well as a significant stand placing. Showing off the Eurobike Gold award winning Elite Hybrid HPC SLT 29 as well as 80 other Cube bikes, the brand will ashowcase its accessories and clothing, including the new Cube shoe series. The complete Litening, Agree and Peloton series will be presented, alongside the Stereo and Hybrid series, over at booth A31.

Two year old storage brand pOcpac was the brainchild of a pair of mountain-biking brothers in South Africa. The product keeps things dry and moisture out, rather than in. 100,000 units later, the brand is at the NEC, courtesy of Northern Albion. The new black Stealth Collection brings the designs up to date, featuring a smoked interface for in-case phone use and same-colour logo imprints.

iPac weatherproof phone cases are pOcpac’s smallest cases that allow you to keep your phone dry but still usable in the dampest of conditions. With your smartphone inside an iPac case, the touchscreen enables uninterrupted operation, and the smart window gives access to the camera on your phone. The latest black Stealth iPac Collection comes in three sizes – iPac 3 for iPhone 5 and 5S; iPac 3X for the Samsung Galaxy 5S and new iPhone 6 and Utility iPac for Samsung Note 2 phones and the just launched iPhone 6 Plus. The new pOcpac Tool Pac – also in black – is pOcpac’s latest compact water resistant road cycling case to keep valuables safe in jersey pockets. The new Stealth iPacs start from £8.99 and come in three sizes, which should fit every phone on the market. The Tool Pac retails at £9.99.

There’s more on what to expect at Cycle Show here and in the latest edition (October) of BikeBiz magazine, out now. If you didn’t get a copy, come to our stand at the trade day of Cycle Show (Stand J144).
