It all kicks off next week at the new venue in Milton Keynes

iceBike* 2015 preview: Shimano, Madison Saddles & Science in Sport

Next week sees iceBike* 2015 take place at Arena: MK, running February 24th to 26th. Here are a few more tasters of what to expect…

Appearing at this year’s show will be the Shimano STePS system, sporting a large capacity lithium-ion battery pack and an intelligent power management system. Attendees will be able to test it and see in detail the new compact and lightweight E-Bike groupset that promises to improve rider control in all conditions and make bikes easier to handle by a wider range of riders.

A broader range of models, new packaging and new branding will all be evident on the Madison Saddles booth at iceBike* 2015. Those featured will include the range-topping Road Race Carbon, with a 100% UD carbon fibre base and rails; it weighs just 120 grams, ideal for light custom builds.

For the mountain bikers, there is now more choice than ever before. Appealing to trail riders, the new Addict features a shape similar to the best-selling Flux but with added waterproof cover with Kevlar corners, light foam padding and hollow CrN-Ti rails to produce a super tough, yet lightweight performance MTB perch.

The updated range shares the same branding as the ever expanding Madison Clothing line, so the two will complement each other in store.

Endurance nutrition specialist Science in Sport will be displaying a wide range of endurance nutrition products to sample including, Raspberry Go electrolyte, Virtually No-Cal Lemon Go Hydro and the NEW Rego 2015 range in all flavours.

Dealers will also have chance to get a special Science in Sport gift; the first 6 retailers to take advantage of the 27% off promotion (each day) will get a personalised, signed, Chris Hoy framed photo for free. Miss the offer? You can also enter to win a ride for two in the Madison Genesis team car at a race this coming season!

Be one of the first to the Respro stand at this year’s show and collect a free promo pack that includes the brand new All Terrain Ultralight mask, a set of ankle bands and all the latest newsletters and sales points from Respro. The new mask (RRP £50) will be launching at iceBike* 2015 and is well suited to the summer months. The material used for the Ultralight™ mask allows for 4-way stretch and is air-permeable – allowing the face to breathe more easily in hot, humid conditions.

If you missed them, we’ve a number of iceBike* previews on the new products to expect there. Including Shimano, Garmin, Park Tool & Lazer, Compressport, Bliss, Continental and Shimano again, (Lazer, Elite, LifeBEAM & Ogio) or a look at the seminars.

Get registered for iceBike* at the official site.
