North America's cycle industry event moving from Sands Convention Centre in Las Vegas

Interbike is on the road to Mandalay

This year’s edition of Interbike will be its last at the Sands Convention Centre in Las Vegas.

From 2013 to at least 2015, Interbike is to take place at the Mandalay Bay Convention Centre (MBCC), also in Las Vegas.

According to the show organiser, the move will provide exhibitors and attendees with an enhanced experience and improved return on investment.

"We’re looking forward to being able to reinvent the show by adding more events, celebrations and providing more riding opportunities with the expansive outdoor areas at the MBCC."

The location of Interbike’s OutDoor Demo product testing event will remain unchanged, however, held over two days at the Bootleg Canyon venue in nearby Boulder City, NV.

Interbike said: "The Mandalay Bay Convention Center will allow the Interbike team and its exhibitors the opportunity to create a new floor plan with product-segmented neighborhoods and better traffic flow patterns making it easier to shop the show. Exhibitors will benefit in 2013 from an improved move-in and move-out experience due to the increased number of loading docks and freight doors. We will be creating new events and activities all with the idea of keeping us together and engaged more in one location."

As well as an array of meeting space options at the Convention Centre, there’s plenty of facilities on hand including 28 full-service restaurants, a wider hotel selection and, ahem, casinos.
