Michelin, Shimano and Ritchey among team sponsors

London Bike Show hosts Team Raleigh launch

The ExCeL-based London Bike Show was the setting for the launch of Team Raleigh 2011 at the weekend.

Raleigh revealed this year’s team sponsors will include the likes of Michelin, Shimano, San Marco, ITM and Ritchey. The team will be using Uvex helmets and glasses, with sports nutrition from High 5 – both of which are Raleigh-distributed brands.

Anthony McCrossan compered the launch with Raleigh’s product and marketing director David Moakes and marketing manager Geoff Giddings also taking the stage during the course of the event.

The full list of sponsors includes Raleigh, Skoda, MOA, Michelin, High Five, Uvex, ITM, Selle San Marco, RSP, Motorex, Shimano, Ritchey, Carnca, SKS, KMC, Unior, Avenir, Sigma, Quag and Velo.

The 2011 Rider line up includes nine new riders from five countries, featuring Liam Holohan, Richard Handley, Dan Fleeman, Matt Cronshaw, Matt Kipling, Gaël Le Bellec, Matt Jones, Matt Gee, Jeroen Janssen, Ryan Parnes, Phil Mooney and Jamie Sparling.
