The duo to spend an evening providing anecdotes and a Q&A session on Monday Feb 1st

MTB legends Rob Warner & Steve Behr to speak at Core Bike

If you were looking for another reason to come along to uber bike trade show Core Bike later this month, then look no further than the arrival of two UK MTB legends taking part in a Q&A.

On Monday evening (February 1st) after dinner, Rob Warner and Steve Behr will talk about the UK MTB scene through the eyes of Warner prompted by Behr’s images of the places, people and events that have shaped the sport.

The evening will include anecdotes, a Q&A session and large screen images from Behr’s collection mixed with complementary regional beers from the Core group.

Steve Behr said: "Travelling with Warner is never dull. Stuff seems to happen around him, to him or to others because of him. Which usually makes for good pictures. He’s also an extraordinarily talented rider and great storyteller. Listen to the stories…"

The duo have yet to come up with a name for the after dinner event. When the Core team asked them to come up with a name, Warner concisely said "look at the pictures!" – a reference to his catchphrase "look at the time!" from his now infamous commentary for the downhills.

Show organiser Keith Jepson of Max Bikes PR added: "It’s great to have the Steve and Rob show at Core 2016, Steve’s images and Rob’s commentary are legendary in the sport and I’m sure our Core guests are going to have a great time down "memory lane". We’re not quite sure what to call the evening so all suggestions are welcome on the Core social media…#corebike16 , @corebikeshow , FB Core Bike Show and I may even offer a prize to the best, funniest and cleanest!"
