Munich show continues to draw strong crowds from around the globe

Munich ISPO draws ‘close to 80,000′ industry professionals’

The organisers of ISPO’s trade show in Munich have told BikeBiz that the show drew close to 80,000 trade members over its four days occupying Messe München.

Held from January 29th to February 1st, the trade exclusive show pulled in 2,344 exhibitors from 51 countries, filling the exhibition space. Though largely made up of domestic trade, the organisers also pointed to a rise in people travellling in from the UK, France, Switzerland and Italy, among others.

Klaus Dittrich, chairman and CEO of Messe München International said: "The strongest increase for the trade show originated in particular from the Russian Federation, the USA, Turkey, Canada and China. This clearly shows how important ISPO MUNICH is for emerging markets.”

83 per cent of exhibitors came from outside Germany.

ISPO MUNICH 2013 will be held from February 3rd to 6th, 2013 at Messe München.
