Pelican Cycles has grabbed two trophies at this year’s Chesterfield Retail Awards, for Independent Retailer of the Year and Sports/Leisure Retailer of the Year.
Pelican, just three and a half years in the business, was also runner up for the Best Retailer of the Year category. The news follows up the IBDs win last year at the awards.
The retailer’s own Neil Armitage said: "I am very proud of these consecutive multiple awards which hopefully demonstrate my continued commitment to customer service and the progressively growing nature of my business. Additionally I believe the consistency reflects well on the committment to key suppliers/brands, such as Scott, Cannondale, Kask, Lake, etc that I have worked hard on in order to develop a trusted, reliable and consistent brand representation that customers can rely on.
"For the second year running, I was the only Chesterfield cycle business to receive nominations for the awards and was delighted to then be shortlisted again before actually winning the awards themselves."
