The Cycle Show has announced several new bike brands exhibiting for the first time at the NEC in Birmingham (September 23 – 25, 2016).
A selection of the world’s best bike companies will once again showcase their new products and kit at the show. Joining the line-up for 2016, where more than 27,000 enthusiasts are expected to attend, are Cannondale, Ragley, Orange mountain bikes, Ghost, Evil, NukeProof, Shand Cycles, Magura and Crud.
After a record breaking number of bike companies participated in the Cycle Show last year, Radon, Orbita and Megamo will also be making their debut in the UK at this year’s event.
Radon, Orbita and Megamo join a mammoth line-up of bike brands including Yeti, Mondraker, Lapierre, Transition, DMR, Whyte, Banshee, KTM, Identitti, Vaaru, Cube, Canyon, Trek, Boardman, Rose, Whyte, Hope, SRAM, Lazer, FSA, Shimano, Cinelli, Kinesis, Primal, Pinarello, Schwalbe, Deda, Storck and many more.
This year the show has expanded with a new hall for Sam Pilgrim’s freestyle dirt jumping contest and a new eMTB test track where you can try out the latest Cubes, plus extra space for the show’s retail village.
Visitors can also expect to see a line-up of medal winners, current pro riders and legends of the sport at the NEC including Condor’s Ed Clancy who will be going for gold in Rio on the Track in the Team Pursuit.
Chris Holman, Director of the Cycle Show, said: “MTB photographer Steve Behr said last year that it was the first time he was worried he wouldn’t make it around a show in the UK in a day. So we’re determined he’s going to have a hotel room this time. The show’s already got some great new brands on board and there’s more room for the big crowd-pleasers like Sam’s dirt comp.”
