Registration for the tenth Cycle Show has now opened for the cycle industry.

This year’s trade and media day will take place on Thursday September 29th, followed by the public days from September 30th to October 2nd.

Cycle Show 2011 promises to be bigger and better, featuring over 500 of the world’s cycle brands at the NEC, Birmingham. The move to the midlands means the show will be able to accommodate a larger number of exhibitors and visitors. This year the show will feature much-improved tracks and trails, including a 1km mountain bike trail, presented by Dare 2b and a 600m road cycling track.

The organiser has listed key reasons to attend the 2011 show, including 2012 stock previews, chance to try out new kit in the market and also to source product from a wide collection of brands. Other key reasons include chance to research industry trends and identify profitable lines, attend hands-on business and skill-based workshops and also to network with in the industry, bike press, trade associations and government agencies.

Ultimate Sports Engineering (USE) is a returning exhibitor. The firm’s John Cookson said: “We’ve been exhibiting at the Cycle show for about seven years now and we’re excited to be going back again. The Show always draws great crowds, displays the best of brands and sells itself well so is a guaranteed success.

“We will have the first UK showing of the new 2012 lighting range. Over the last few years we’ve been overwhelmed with the support and visitors to the stand so we will be pushing on innovation for added interest.”

Windwave is another key exhibitor returning to the show. MD Peter Nisbet commented: “It’s great to be able to showcase our products and meet the public who are so enthusiastic about what we do. The customers love the bikes and always want to have a chat; the 2012 range will be launched at the show as well.“
