Details trickle in for the models you'll see at the trade show next month

You can probably guess what bike brands you'll find at iceBike* and Sportline Show, but details are now coming in on the new models that will be showcased from Genesis, Ridley, Saracen, Adventure, Rapide and Ridgeback.

Back for its tenth year, taking place at Arena:MK between Tuesday 23 February and Thursday 25 February and visitors are urged to register their places early to get up-to-date information the show.

Genesis will be exhibiting its 2016 range of bikes including Road.cc’s 2015 Sportive Bike of the Year, the Genesis Datum 30. In addition, Genesis will have the Zero on show, the bike ridden by the Madison Genesis as seen in last year’s Tour of Britain. The do-it-all Croix de Fer will also be on show to the public as well as the new Bridge series and the whole range of children’s bikes.

Belgian powerhouse Ridley is displaying its entire 2016 road range at iceBike*. Ridley is the bike of choice for the Lotto Soudal team and will be proudly showing off Andre Greipel’s famous green Noah SL. It is the bike he rode to victory on stage five of the 2015’s Tour de France. For the Cyclo-cross fans, the brand new X-Night SL25 will be making its first UK trade show debut.

Saracen will also be out in force for visitors to get up close and personal with their latest machines. Ridden by the Madison Saracen Factory Race team, the bikes on display at the Arena:MK will include the Kili Flyer Elite and Mantra Trail Carbon, which will be ready for dealers to order at the show.

Ridgeback and Rapide will display their range of 2016 bikes that cover off anything from a useful commuter to a high-end road bike. Rapide will be making a lot of noise about its RL Disc gravel bikes, including the top-of-the-range RL3 Disc bike.

Taking advantage of the e-bike test track, the Ridgeback Electron will also be out for visitors to demo. The Electron is the debut e-bike range from Ridgeback and makes use of Shimano STEPS technology that has a charge time of four hours and a range of up to 125km, aiming to capitalise on what the firm says will be a big year for e-bikes.

Finally, Adventure will be at the show with its latest collection of bikes, including the Flat White which was described by BikeRadar as a “fully equipped tourer at a hard-to-believe price”. Adventure is a brand at an affordable price-point that doesn’t compromise on quality, Sportline said, with a whole range of children’s bikes on show to complement the tourers.
