SRAM vice president FK Day has confirmed he will be flying over from the US to join dealers at the Fisher Outdoor Leisure Expo show in February.
Day will be speaking about World Bicycle Relief, the charity he founded in 2005 which provides access to independence and livelihood for people in Africa through the power of bicycles. He’ll also be riding alongside Fisher staff and VIPs on the charity ride the Sunday before the show.
A custom WBR charity jersey made by Santini will be available to buy with all proceeds going to the charity’s work.
The show runs from Monday 20th to Wednesday February 22nd.
Fisher sales and brand director Mike Cook said: “We are really honoured to have FK Day come and speak at the show. World Bicycle Relief is a fantastic charity doing great work and we are delighted that we are able to help raise money and awareness at the show.”
Visitors to Expo can also expect to see product in the SRAM road and MTB ranges including new bars, stems and seatposts from Zipp and the SRAM MTB Rise wheels – as well as some as yet to be announced products. As exclusive UK distributor, Fisher Outdoor said it has had another great twelve months selling the SRAM portfolio of products and to help dealers share in its continued success Fisher has announced a range of technical seminars at Expo.
Technicians from the SRAM Tech Centre will be focusing on popular maintenance topics such as bleeding Avid brakes and Reverb seatposts and also Rock Shox Lower Leg Servicing. Store managers are urged to bring their mechanics along to get the full benefit from the seminars, which will take place in the new European race support truck.
