Distributor Extra UK has confirmed that Jonny Yates has joined the team as area sales manager for the South West region.
No stranger to the cycling industry, Yates previously spent seven years working for British distributor i-Ride. He also spent three years as South West Wales and Ireland area manager, two years as key accounts manager and two years as sales manager.
Before this, Yates spent two years working for Silverfish; one year as internal sales and one year as South West and Wales area manager.
Yates is a passionate cyclist and has raced road, MTB and cyclocross since 1992. He also competed internationally on the road at junior and under 23 level.
