Cage manufacturers, look away. Fabric has just re-invented the water bottle and cage system by scrapping the cage entirely.
Introducing two simple plugs to the frame’s mounts, Fabric has designed in two slots to a unique water bottle and in the process come up with a system even lighter than the most featherweight of cages.
The 600ml Water Bottle shown here is the first model in the range from Fabric. Another huge benefit of the cageless system is that it will accommodate different shapes and sizes of bottle, meaning bespoke designs can and will be created – more sizes and designs are to follow.
The 600ml Water Bottle is available for demonstration now and will be in store from August 2015. A larger 750ml Water Bottle using the same cageless system will be available by the end of the year.
