'Amero' trails suited build now on sale at factionbikeco.com

Faction launches second 22-inch BMX

22-inch wheel BMX brand Faction has launched its second model, dubbed the Amero, having had some strong endorsements on the flagship bike.

Where their first bike was pitched as an agile alternative to a cruiser, the new ‘Amero’ is designed as a high-end trails bike. Customers can buy the heat-treated 4130 steel frame (Spanish BB) and 6061 wheelset, with custom made 22×2.30 tyres and from there everything is compatible with traditional components. The chainstay has clearance for up to a 26T sprocket.

BMX Union recently ran an interview with the founder of Faction to ask the question "have BMX wheels been the wrong size all along." Faction certainly thinks they could be, having registered the interlectual property rights to 22-inch wheeled BMX bikes back in 2005.

Custom designs are available at www.factionbikeco.com.
