Road, dirt or city riders welcome in site that covers how tos, buying guides, shares stories and training tips

Factory launches female-focused Total Womens Cycling.com

Already soft launched, Factory Media’s new cycling websire – TotalWomensCycling.com – is aiming to bring a ‘clever, but irreverent, knowledgable but cheeky’ voice for the growing numbers of female cyclists.

Pitched at all disciplines of cycling, the site includes inspirational stories as well as how-tos and jargon-free buying advice. It also features interviews with pro riders, shares cross0country travel stories, training advice and more.

Susan Greenwood is editor of the new site. She said: “The time was right to create a website that celebrates the achievements of female cyclists and also provides inspiration, knowledge, expertise and a fair amount of mud, sweat and tears for all of us to whom the first crank of the pedals means the start of a good day.

“We’re all cyclists here – the writers, the photographers, the nutritionists, sports scientists and mechanics – and we’ve all got one goal: to produce intelligent female-directed bike content across the fields of road, mountain bike and urban cycling which raises the bar.

“Whether you prefer to ride a hybrid to the office or slick asphalt in the Alps, like your tyres fat or bright pink, prefer a lycra all-in-one to a billowing skirt or baggies there’s a space for you in Total Women’s Cycling – join us!”

Current highlights include a Victoria Pendleton interview, words from Trek’s Chris Garrison and Bex Hopkins’ urban bike recommendations.
