SRAM, Troy Lee, Look, Santini and much more to appear at next month's trade show

Fisher unveils Expo 2012 highlights

SRAM’s Rise MTB wheels and new casual wear from Troy Lee will be among the highlights at this year’s Expo, Fisher Outdoor Leisure has revealed.

The distributor’s trade-only house show takes place at Sopwell House, St Albans, from Monday February 20th to 22nd.

In the off road category SRAM Rise MTB wheels, which have already had significant press attention, will be on display at the show for dealers to get a closer look. The wheels come in 26-inch and 29-inch with a variety of axle standards.

Fisher said: "The RISE 60 wheelset was designed with the performance XC and marathon rider in mind. Trademark asymmetric, US made, carbon fibre rims, Sapim CX-Ray spokes and exclusive hub and pawl designs integrate seamlessly to boost speed, strength and engagement while ensuring low inertia and explosive acceleration.

"For the practiced XC rider with the next level in sight, RISE 40 offers the optimal balance of performance factors—and price. From the lightweight aluminium rim to the uncommonly durable hub, each component of the system brings out the best in the rest to activate the full potential of every ride and every rider.

"The ZIPP Service Course bar, stem and seat post (BSS) program was a great success last year and this year see the launch of the SpeedSL seatpost and Service Course SL BSS in Beyond Black colourway. These will be the first opportunity to place orders for luxury build kits, which will offer fantastic dealer margin."

A new range of casual wear from Troy Lee Designs will be on show to compliment the range of 2012 race kits, trail wear and helmets. The brand has continued its partnership with the Steve McQueen brand, with new pieces arriving from that team up.

Fisher added: "Santini’s Autumn Winter 2012 collection will be at the show in February for dealers to view and preorder along with the popular 365 stock service items. Long established with the world’s best UCI Pro Teams, UCI World Champions jerseys and the Giro d’Italia, Santini have a range of Pro Team Replica kit for the 2012 season. Come to Expo and be one of the first to see the much promoted Green Edge kit and Team Original aero kit as worn by the teams and now available to lesser mortals.

"Also on show will be the Summer Fashion collection. The clothing utilises the latest fabric technologies including Bio Ceramic fabrics enhancing rider metabolism, streamlined Lycra Ka aero fabrics, and Coldback muscle compression bib shorts reflecting heat and improving rider performance. There is also a nod to Santini’s racing past with a new Retro range, Jiada. Inspired by Pierto Santini’s own team of the 70s that grew up following the basic rules of cycling; mind, legs and heart.

"Following the successful launch of Vavert saddles, pedals and mudguards the brand will now have some exciting new additions. Come and see the full range at Expo and find out the benefits to stocking the brand.

"The LOOK stand at Expo will have the eagerly anticipated X85 cyclocross bike on display, the first time the UK will have seen the frame. First glimpsed at Eurobike, the X85 has generated plenty of excitement amongst ‘cross fans with its stiff carbon construction and disc brake compatibility."

Fisher added that there will be many other new products on display at the show as well as brand launches, with more details to appear as the show draws nearer.
