Jeff McGuane heads up the protective clothing brand following Transom takeover

Former Dorel president joins One Industries

ONE Industries has appointed Jeff McGuane as president and chief executive officer.

McGuane most recently held the position of global president of Dorel’s Cycling Sports Group where he leading the Cannondale and GT brands worldwide.

The move follows ONE Industries recent acquisition by Transom Capital Group, an LA-based private equity firm.

Transom Capital Group MD Russell Roenick said: “McGuane comes to ONE Industries with extensive global management experience. He began his career with Cannondale and for the past 20 years has ascended to hold multiple international leadership roles building an impressive background in product creation, marketing, sales and global operations.”

We are confident that McGuane’s breadth of experience leading innovative and product-centered brands will expand ONE Industries’ position as a leader in the motocross and mountain bike communities. Jeff understands the enthusiast customer and how to meet his or her needs.”

McGuane takes on the role from September, based in San Diego. He added: “ONE Industries and SixSixOne are great brands with great products and a strong heritage in the action sports industry. I am thrilled to have been chosen to lead this team on its continued journey to develop innovative products that inspire action sports enthusiasts around the world.”
