New kids’ bike brand Frog Bikes has been shortlisted for the National Business Awards 2013, nominated in the New Business of the Year category.
Launched earlier this year with a range of lightweight affordable bikes featuring hand-picked, quality components, the small British company is dedicated to making cycling fun for children.
Frog is committed to selling primarily through independent bike retailers and has a growing network of distributors in England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland and Hong Kong, with more stores signing up almost daily, Frog says. The current range features nine bikes, with the starter model being the Tadpole balance bike.
Director of Frog Bikes Shelley Lawson, commented: “It’s a real surprise to be shortlisted for the National Business Awards, but to know that the work that we have done so far has been appreciated is absolutely fantastic.
“Jerry and I launched this range with the intention of making a high quality range of bikes that would make cycling as much fun as possible for smaller riders. We are thrilled by the positive reception we have received from the cycling community since the launch of the brand.”
The brand will find out if it has won at a ceremony on November 12th at Grosvenor House, London.
