1000 trial bikes from 14 manufacturers tested

Future demo days calendar kicks off

The first of Futures scheduled ‘demo days’ took place on the 9th and 10th of this month up in Glentress, Scotland. 1000 bikes from 14 manufacturers were available for trade and consumers alike to test. Bikes from Manufacturers Trek, Memory Map, Bionicon, Moore Large, Jim Walker, Felt, Cotic, Hotlines, Saracen, and Fishers. Santa Cruz, Diamondback, Iron Horse, Lapierre and Yeti were available for test rides.

Iron Horse UK Brand Manager, Martin Astley said: “The Demo Day at Glentress ran very smoothly and was very successful for Iron Horse. We are always keen to get the public out on our bikes and riding on proper trails, and the Demo Day provided us with just that opportunity, bring on the next demo at Coed y Brenin.”

Edward Ibbetson of Hotlines added: “The Glentress Demo Day was brilliant for Hotlines and Lapierre. The place had a really good vibe – great tunes, glorious spring sunshine, fun trails and great bikes, what more could anyone want from a days riding? It’s always nice to get feedback direct from riders who have just compared two or three of the best bike brands available in the UK and find out what you are doing right. Big smiles all round from the riders and no big crashes; I’d say that’s a pretty good result."

The next ‘Demo Day’ is scheduled for 24th February at Coed Y Brenin.
