The forthcoming issue of What Mountain Bike magazine is to include a 37-page fully comprehensive 2010 mountain bike buyer’s guide.
Including detailed specs of 1,079 bikes from 73 brands, the guide is, according to Future, the only one of its kind currently on the market. Every bike listed will have a link to reviews and more detailed specs on BikeRadar.com.
Included with WMB, which goes on sale on February 10th, the guide is a sign of Future’s continued investment in print, said the firm.
What Mountain Bike Editor Mike Skinner enthused: "Bike brands invest a lot of time and effort into product development and we’re no different, this has taken months to get right and I’d like to thank the industry for providing the information necessary to deliver the only mountain bike buyer’s guide on the market."
The guide can be a tool for the trade too, said associate publisher Dave Clutterbuck: "What Mountain Bike already caters to active bicycle buyers better than any other magazine, but this initiative takes things to a whole new level.
