Giant has unveiled a new Home Set Up service for online shoppers, where consumers can order their bike direct from Giant’s Click & Collect website and have it built and delivered at their home by an Authorised Giant Retailer.
The scheme gives consumers another way of getting hold of a new Giant bike – the brand doesn’t deliver bikes in boxes, assembled or otherwise. The Authorised dealer checks the bike fits, is right for the consumer and ready to ride. The same retailer carries out the first three month service free of charge.
The brand said: "Any company can deliver a bike in a box but no-one else offers a unique service like Home Set Up exclusively from Giant."
Giant UK MD Ian Beasant explained further: “Home Set Up offers customers more, everyone leads busy lives and with Click & Collect and Home Set Up we are responding to consumer demands – whilst still maintaining Giant principals and ensuring customers get the right bike and have great riding experiences – this supported by a great independent retail network offers consumers peace of mind and confidence in their online retail experience.”
