Rainforest Rescue campaign to gain from proceeds of sales

Going Going bike hosts Team Sky auction

Going Going bike is to host a Team Sky auction with 13 lots for sale, including a one of a kind opportunity to attend Team Sky’s post tour party.

Team Sky’s kit, bikes, equipment and vehicles have changed from blue to green for all 21 stages of this year’s race to help raise awareness and support for Sky Rainforest Rescue, a three year partnership between Sky and WWF to help save a billion trees in the state of Acre, northwest Brazil.

100 per cent of all winning bids will go directly to Sky Rainforest Rescue. Going Going Bike will not charge any commission, admin or payment charges as part of their contribution to the cause.

Team Sky rider Bradley Wiggins said: “Changing to a green strip for the Tour de France is a fantastic opportunity to draw attention to a hugely important issue. Millions of fans around the world will be following the Tour this summer and I hope they join us in supporting Sky Rainforest Rescue.”

The auction, which will be running for the next three weeks, though the ‘tour party’ bidding will end in the next 24 hours. Bidding is taking pace here.
