Going Going Bike, the online marketplace for buying and selling bikes,has been shortlisted in the green category for Metro newspaper’s Venture Candy Awards. This category is for companies whose primary objective is to make the environment a cleaner, greener, more enjoyable place to live.
Thousands of entrants where whittled down to a long list of seven companies who went through a panel interview with the Venture Candy judges. The judges then chose their favourite three to go forward into the public vote: Going Going Bike made it through, along with a website promoting camping and another promoting car re-cycling.
The voting ends on Monday and is done via a click system, no registration required.
Winners of Venture Candy receive mentorship, publicity, advertising in the Metro, and other professional services.
