Eclipse Solar Gear of the US has produced a line of bags with integral solar panels to enable backwoods trickle charging of cell-phones, PDAs, GPS units, iPods, and AA battery chargers. As well a rucksack and messenger bag, the company will launch bike/motorbike pannier bags in December.

Going native? Need mobile leccy?

Also coming in December is a camera bag.

The solar charging modules in all the bags power 12v auto adapters, ie cigarette lighter adapters.

The messenger bag costs $129.95, a dollar more expensive than the rucksack.
