TC Debica is the largest of Goodyear’s 15 factories in Europe and third largest among the group’s 85 plants worldwide.
The plant will continue to produce bus tyres.
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is to cease production of bicycle tyres and inner tubes at its Debica facility. In 2003, Robert J. Keegan, president of Goodyear, said that Debica was the plant with the best prospects for development among all of the corporation's production plants worldwide.
