Guest appearances confirmed for Fisher Outdoor Expo ride

Fisher Outdoors has confirmed a number of cycling celebrity guests who will ride alongside those signed up to the annual ‘Stay Strong’ ride.

Guests will include 2009 World Mountain Bike Champion Steve Peat who will join fellow mountain biker Danny Hart and the LOOK equipped Endura Racing team, as well as Olympic silver medalist Wendy Houvenaghel.

With more special guests still to be confirmed and a choice of 12 or 30-mile routes, the stage is set for a memorable ride through the Hertfordshire countryside in aid of Stay Strong.

Stay Strong is the foundation set up on behalf of pro-BMXer Stephen Murray who was unfortunately seriously injured in competition in 2007.

Fisher’s head of marketing, Julie Dommett said “We’re looking forward to welcoming all of our special guests to the Expo ride this year’’

‘’Last year proved exceptionally popular and raised both money and awareness for Stay Strong. With such a strong line up and with more names to be added in the coming weeks, we expect 2011 to be even more popular so please register soon to avoid disappointment’’

Every rider will receive a custom Stay Strong Santini jersey re-designed for 2011 and long sleeve Stay Strong jackets will also be available to be purchased for the first time.

For more information and to register for the ride and/or the show online today, please visit www.fisherexpo.co.uk .
