'Halfway house' wheel size cut from 2011 line

Haro Bikes drops 650B wheel size

Haro Bikes has reportedly dropped the 650B wheel size from its 2011 catalogue.

Haro’s MTB brand manager Jill Hamilton recently posted a sneak peak of the 2011 line on the MTBR.com forum, though none of the bikes carried the wheel size previosuly strongly advocated by Hamilton.

Touted as ‘the best compromise between 26 and 29-inch wheels’, the decision to cut the niche size is likely down to the larger manufacturers not supporting its manufacture, thus Hamilton states: "Haro may jump back in if one of the ‘big three’ were to support the 650B format."
