Less than one year on from dipping into custom mudguard production, Hookit has lowered the MOQ and shortened lead times on the back of the strengthening demand.
Already counting Revolution Bike Park, Bike Park Wales, Trans Provence, Peatys Steel City DH, Cotic, Pace and others as customers, the 35 Bikes mudguards are now able to be designed and shipped in just seven to ten days.
Oliver Green of hookit told BikeBiz: "Over the summer we have been able to hone our processes, which in turn has allowed us to lower our MOQ’s, shorten lead times and increase our output. 2015 has been one hell of a learning curve and the outcome is a product and service we are really proud of. As we speak, our first ever run of custom printed rear guards are in the final stages of production.
"In the next few weeks we hope to be introducing new technology to allow us to reduce MOQ even further and to allow us to get really creative with design. If custom guards aren’t your thing we have just slashed the prices of our stock mudguards, including the Sensus collaboration range giving dealers unprecedented margins, on top of this all orders over 10 units will receive and additional 5 guards free of charge."
