Hotlines announces marketing team changes

Edinburgh based distributor Hotlines has appointed David Flynn as head of sales and marketing. Steve Larking joins him as the new marketing assistant.

Flynn previously held the position of head of sales and will be adding marketing responsibilities to his role.

In his fourth year at the company, he has gained an intimate overview of the Hotlines portfolio and maintains an enthusiasm for building the brands that they distribute.

Flynn commented: “It’s been a good year for Hotlines and we’re keen to push forward into 2017 with some key new products arriving. We will be focussing on integrating our sales and marketing approach to make sure we’re delivering the right campaigns in the right place, with the best possible results for our valued dealers.”

Larking has been with the company for four years as a sales and tech advisor. As an accomplished rider with an intimate knowledge of the scene, he provides a wealth of experience both in and out of the office.

Steve will be involved in the organisation of everything from trade and consumer shows, demo events and organising test products for media outlets. He will also develop Hotlines’ social media presence and sponsorship.

Larking said: “It’s fantastic to be able to say you’re passionate about the brands and people you work with so I’m thrilled to be getting stuck into my new role within the Hotlines team.

"Core Bike will be my first official event as my new role within the Hotlines team. Core Bike will be my first official event as marketing assistant and I’m looking forward to introducing dealers to some exciting new products.”
