Hyphens get the heave-ho

Those applicants with hyphens in their domain addresses (eg bert@nobble-cycles.com) were rejected by our auto email address checker. Sorry for that.

In the old days (when I wrote this bit of code) hyphens weren’t allowed so the script objected to them, says Paul Rundle, the bikebiz.co.uk webmaster.

The email checker has now been removed for new coding so applicants with hyphens will now be accepted.
