Sussex-based distributor i-ride has announced Rob Jarman as marketing manager.
Jarman has been working in marketing for the past six years, most notably for two of the UK cycling industries largest retailers, and riding bikes for as long as he can remember. Jarman will be leading strategy for all marketing activity and is looking forward to being the point of contact for i-ride to the cycling industry.
Josh Ibbett who had previously been responsible for marketing at i-ride has now left to follow his dream and cycle across Asia.
Managing director Paul Butler commented: “We’re delighted to have Rob join the team at a time when i-ride is growing at an unprecedented rate. With some exciting developments coming in the near future, having Rob in charge of our marketing activity will ensure we have a solid strategy to continue delivering support and growth to our exceptional brand portfolio.”
The new marketing manager added: “As somebody who’s obsessed with cycling, based in sussex and works in marketing this is an exceptional opportunity. Having grown up riding many of the brands distributed by i-ride I’m looking forward to now representing them along with the great team here and continuing the great work from my predecessors. The next month will include a European trade show and 20-plus miles of daily riding, amongst other tasks!”
