In stock now, the 2012 EMX-7 framesets normally retail for £3,799, but cycle trade members are promised an ‘amazing staff price for these amazing frames’. i-ride is also able to provide attractive staff discounts on components to build the framesets too, BikeBiz was told by the distributor.
The EMX-7 frameset has been ridden to multiple World Tour victories and benefits from the testing and design input of Merckx himself.
The frameset features Merckx’s Angle geometry, designed for making the most of long days in the saddle. I-ride said: “The technology behind the EMX-7 is impressive too with super hi-modulus 62 Tonne carbon, one of the stiffest BB areas on the market at 130Nm/degree/kg to transfer all your pedalling power, integrated seat post and proprietary super-wide fork/frame interface for incredibly precise handling.”
