2016 sees the return of The International Cyclefit Symposium after a two-year absence.
The new home of ICS is the city of Manchester, and specifically Manchester University.
All the speakers this year have been selected because they will contribute on an academic, medical or practical level to fit intelligence. Speakers will discuss bike-fitting whilst drawing from other worlds and subjects such as podiatry, psychology, anatomy, medical, academic, physiology, elite sports, to name a few.
ICS is sharing the bike-fitting symposium responsibilities with partners, gebioMized, from Muenster in Germany. gebioMized ran an ISCO conference in November of 2015, with speakers from all over the world.
A represnetative from ICS commented: "When we think of how ICS can best add to the group learning dynamic, it is focussing on The Intelligence of Fit. ISCO and gebioMized hugely impressive producing and discussing technology and its application in the realm of bike-fitting.
"Whilst Cyclefit has itself been the first to adopt and use most technologies in the UK, we are probably best known for our obsession with driving forwards the intellect of fitting and the medical and academic subjects that surround fit."
