"Bikeforall rocks," emailed Chris Star, a Melbourne bike blogger. "I absolutely love this site! Wish we had something the equivalent here in Australia." It may rock for Star but maybe you think some key links are missing?

Industry input sought for industry web portal

Phase one of Bikeforall.net – "the pan-industry portal for new cyclists" – has now completed. An automatic links checker spiders the site every night, checking for duff URLs.

Phase two of the site will see the creation of an events calendar and other useful features.

Bikeforall.net is a joint initiative between the UK Department for Transport and the Bike Hub levy scheme. It’s edited by Carlton Reid, editor of BikeBiz.com.

Bicycle advocacy news that may have previously aired on BikeBiz.com is now placed on Bikeforall.net, although sometimes the stories will be loaded to both sites.

Bikeforall.net has been populated with a selection of useful website links and now’s your chance to check whether your fave links have been included. If not, please send the full URL to editor@bikeforall.net and it will be reviewed for possible inclusion.

The number of commercial links on the site has been kept to a minimum. So, the selection of links on helmets is all about how to choose the right helmet, correct fitting and whether it’s mandatory to wear them: there are no links to helmet manufacturers or helmet distributors.
