IPC Media announces redundancies

IPC Media, publisher of Cycling Weekly, Mountain Bike Rider (MBR), Cycle Sport, Cycling Fitness and Cycling Active, has announced that the company will be making in the region of 150 redundancies.

BikeBiz understands that the consultation has not specified which titles or brands will be affected, so potentially the cycling titles listed above may not be affected.

The official statement from IPC reads: “IPC has announced to staff that it is entering a 90-day consultation period about planned changes that may lead to the loss of up to 150 roles.

"There will be no firm outcome until the consultation process has taken place.”

IPC Media’s extensive portfolio includes renowned titles like Marie Claire, Horse and Hound, Look, TV Times, Nuts and NME.
