Adidas' uber lightweight jersey - weighing just 65 grams - is available at retail next month

Is this the world’s lightest cycling jersey?

adidas has challenged the cycle industry with its adizero jersey – a cycle jersey that weighs just 65g, light enough for it to float on a helium balloon.

Constructed with lightweight (naturally) mesh materials, the jersey has actually been around for a while, scoring a gold Eurobike Award in 2013.

Retailing at £120 RRP, it will be available from June and features the lightest full cam-lock zipper from YKK and ergonomically-angled back pockets.

Stretchy material around the shoulders and arms are provided for the best fit while a lightweight front panel protects from the elements.

A British Cycling version has been used during elite competition.
