The Friedrichshafen show is expanding. It's taking space in the Zeppelin hanger, next to the current show halls.

It’s up, up and away for Eurobike

This means there’s to be an additional 4,000 sqm of indoor space.

“We are delighted with the neighbourly help of Zeppelin-Luftschifftechnik, which has kindly made its hangar available to the international bicycle trade show for the duration of the event,” says Messe Friedrichshafen CEO Klaus Wellmann.

The show runs August 30th to September 2nd.

The Zeppelin hangar will house 50 exhibitors with city, trekking and e-bikes, and will also feature an indoor test track.

Despite the expansion there’s still a waiting list to exhibit at the show.

“The Zeppelin hangar is only a temporary solution until the two new planned exhibition halls have been built,” said Wellmann.

Construction for the additional exhibition space is scheduled to begin in the autumn of 2007, and the new halls will be ready for Eurobike 2009.
