His target was to cross North America in just eighteen days to set a new endurance World Record. After running 80 miles across Death Valley, James continued riding his way along Route 66. This week’s instalment of the series covering Cracknell’s journey focuses specifically on his North America attempt, the accident and his long way back to riding his bike.

The final programme of the trilogy which will focus on the 1st challenge James set himself after his recovery taking part in the Yukon Arctic Ultra a 430-mile long bike race in minus 50 degree conditions.
