Cycle Systems is currently looking for a pro-active and ambitious individual to join our company as Academy Support Instructor.
This is a fantastic opportunity if you are a keen cyclist with a passion for cycle tech, who would thrive in a role that involves both day to day interaction with students in person, as well as taking pride in assisting the Lead Instructor with the necessary prep and behind the scenes organisation.
You need to be a friendly and clear communicator, be exceptionally well organised and reliable, able to adhere to systems already in place and able to take direction from senior staff. A patient attitude with students is a plus.
Qualifications and Experience
Ideally, you will have some bike workshop experience, and also be qualified to at least a Level 2 in Bicycle Maintenance and Repair. However, mechanical aptitude and commitment also counts, and for the right candidate, technical qualifications can be delivered as a part of your training package. Teaching and assessing experience is desirable.
If you want to get ahead in the cycle trade, consolidate your mechanical skills and up skill in a teaching environment, then this is the ideal position for you. Cycle Systems graduates are encouraged to apply.
To support the Lead Academy Instructor in course prep, delivery and administration to ensure a high quality and seamless experience for our customers and stakeholders.
To be able to stand in for the Lead Instructor and manage academy systems on an as needed basis.
- Assisting instructor with management and delivery of all CSA courses on a day to day basis
- Assisting with teaching of core curriculum in a timely fashion, ensuring all outcomes are met by students
- Assisting any assessments when required and impeccably maintaining awarding body paperwork
- Helping the instructor to manage all student experiences whilst on site
- Repair teaching and demo stock when needed
- Assisting the management of stock control and ordering through relevant systems
- Adhering to all online admin, assessment and other management systems
- Overseeing the order, cleaning and tidying of space
- Following the directives of the Lead Instructor
- Assisting sales director with pipeline management.
