Job Description:

You’ll be heading up one of our most important and fastest growing markets – the United Kingdom. You’ll be growing our existing dealer service network as well as growing sales through developing superior customer experiences.  It’s an exciting time to join our business as we shift gears to achieve our ambitious growth targets within the rapidly developing e bike market. You’ll have a strong sense of brand and positioning relating to high end and premium electric bicycles.

This is a hands on role including setting up and managing customer events and dealer support and training opportunities. You’ll be very good with relationships and building trust with partners as well as support. You’ll like working with people and enjoy helping them to learn about our product. You’re articulate and personable and can communicate well verbally and in writing. Most of all, you will be ambitious, confident, competent, and determined with regard to achieving solid growth year on year. Exceptional follow-up, lead generation, and pipeline management skills are essential. Additionally, you’ll need to work with direct customers also to fully understand and appreciate the complex multi-sales channel environment that we operate in.

Working with Gocycle as a challenger brand, high energy levels are essential. You’ll have to wear many hats and be willing to do many different jobs from attending trade shows and events, working with our technical engineering team to solve problems, talking to customers on the phone, preparing orders and interfacing with our accounts team, regularly visiting our retail partners to help them with sales training, talk to them about our marketing and brand positioning, and many other tasks. Mechanical skills are not essential, but would be a plus. As the market develops, you’ll be part of a wider team of support staff to work closely in your territories in order to maintain high standards of end consumer and dealer support. A passion and interest in cycling and electric bicycles is essential and you’ll have confidence riding in an urban environment. We are a growing company with lots of opportunity.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Managing and growing sales and support for United Kingdom.
  • Maintaining existing business as well as developing new business.
  • Being the main point of contact for customers B2B and B2C in providing pre and post-sales support.
  • Implement the Gocycle sales and promotion strategies within the territories
  • Manage, setup and attend events and trade shows in the territory
  • Regular travel for face to face meeting with existing and new dealers
  • Provide pre and post-sales customer support and technical assistance in person, via phone, e-mail, and other electronic media such as video service documentation
  • Work with the sales team to set pricing and margin structure within the territory.
  • Responsible for regular communication with dealers to make them aware of product and business developments.
  • In person and hands on product demonstrations with dealers, end consumers, and media.
  • Media presentation and working with the PR Manager and PR company to maximise growth in the territories.
  • Annual and monthly sales planning with the Sales Director to meet agreed sales volume and targets.
  • Assist with translation for the website and other technical documents.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of technical literature and other communication in the form of instructions, manuals and repair guides.
  • Perform customer sales training sessions at the company’s office and at customer sites
  • Work with the engineering team on continuous improvement of quality control, manufacturing and design as reflected by reported customer service issues
  • Manual handling is required from time to time for shipping parts, product demonstrations and product to customers
  • Confidently demonstrate the product in person and on video.
