The Hope Academy is a children’s bike scheme aimed at providing all children with the opportunity to ride high-end bikes at affordable monthly costs, enabling them to get the most out of riding and to develop a lifelong passion for cycling.  We are looking for a mechanic to join our team and help us maintain the high standards and excellent customer service that our customers expect to receive. 

Principle role: 

As the Hope Academy Mechanic, your role will involve building and servicing our fleet of children’s bikes.  You will need to communicate with customers and answer any technical or service and warranty queries that we receive by telephone or email.  You will be responsible for stock movements on our ERP system, for which full training will be provided.  You may be required to attend some events for our Hope Academy days, because of this DBS check will be carried out on the chosen candidate.  As the Academy grows and evolves so will your role within the Academy. 


  • Cytech qualified or extensive experience within a bike mechanic role essential.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate, however full training will be provided
  • In depth mechanical and technical knowledge
  • Positive and friendly manner
  • Good time management 


Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm
Friday 8 am- 2:30pm
