This role will need to reach and engage people globally by creating outstanding integrated campaigns that drive acquisition through to loyalty and referral programmes. They will be positive, participative, self-starting, mobile and self-disciplined.\u00a0\r\n\r\nMain responsibilities\r\n\r\nCommunications management\r\n\r\n \tDevelop annual communications plan with engagement from key stakeholders.\r\n \tLead our communications planning for new product releases, marketing campaigns and brand storytelling.\r\n \tWork with external creative, media and PR agencies to deliver impactful campaigns in line with commercial objectives and our communications calendar.\r\n \tWork with the in-house creative team to create and distribute valuable content to attract, acquire and engage relevant audiences.\r\n \tOwn the brand communications calendar for owned channels (email, website and social)\r\n \tSet and report against campaign KPIs.\u00a0\r\n\r\nPR\r\n\r\n \tUse your network and knowledge of the industry to identify stories worth telling.\r\n \tBuild strong relationships with our CEO, directors and senior media contacts to identify opportunities and grow media coverage.\r\n \tWork collaboratively with our international PR agencies and local marketing execs to proactively pitch stories with local media.\r\n \tCraft interesting content which engages with the media narrative.\r\n \tBuild relationships with cycling, health and mobility advocacy groups.\r\n \tSupport the Social and Communications Exec to facilitate press office enquiries via the PR agencies.\r\n \tSet and report against PR KPIs.\r\n\r\nSocial media\r\n\r\n \tDevelop and lead the global social media strategy.\r\n \tSupport the Communications Exec to implement the social media plan on a day to day basis.\r\n \tSupport the Communications Exec to engage with local social media owners (direct or distributor) to implement the strategy and guide the creation of local content.\r\n \tIdentify influencers and advocates and build engagement with these groups.\r\n \tSet and report against Social Media KPIs\r\n\r\nPeople & Agency management\r\n\r\n \tManagement of one direct report; Social & Communications Exec.\r\n \tExternal network and partnership development:\u00a0\r\n\r\n \tSupport the Head of Marketing in building our network of international agencies, collaboration partners and influential brand advocates (including press, policy makers, and high profile customers)\r\n \tLead relationships with international PR agencies\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nBudget management & reporting\r\n\r\n \tBuild annual Communications budget with rationale\r\n \tManagement of budget to plan\r\n \tMonthly reporting of spend vs budget\r\n \tMonthly campaign and website KPI reporting\r\n \tAnnual review of activity and performance to feed into annual planning and budget process.\r\n\r\nPersonal attributes and skills:\r\n\r\n \tOutstanding and passionate communicator\u00a0\r\n \tSignificant ability to influence and persuade others\u00a0\r\n \tCreative with an eye for impactful content\r\n \tOn the pulse with news, trends and opportunities\r\n \tDigital marketing competence\r\n \tProject management proficiency and ability to set standards for a cross-functional team to follow\r\n \tSelf-motivated and ability to work in a fast-moving and entrepreneurial environment\u00a0\r\n \tAbility to work across cultures essential\u00a0\r\n \tHigh energy\u00a0\r\n \tDetermined\u00a0\r\n\r\nExperience:\r\n\r\n \tMinimum 5-6 years' working in a Marketing or Communications role, agency and \/ or client-side experience will be considered\r\n \tGraduate with strong academic performance desired\u00a0\r\n \tStrong copywriting skills\r\n \tManaged digital and brand campaigns\r\n \tInternational market experience preferred\r\n \tEnjoys cycling or passionate about cycling as a transport solution\r\n \tExperience working for an urban mobility brand or a premium, market leading brand a benefit\r\n\r\nJob profile\r\n\r\nBrompton utilises Personal Profile Analysis and Psychometric Assessment during the recruitment process.
