Exeter Bike Workshop is a professional, ethical bike shop, with an excellent reputation, offering expert, affordable and bespoke new and second-hand bike sales and servicing.  We’re not like other bike shops – as a social enterprise, all our profits are donated to our parent charity, Julian House, who support homeless and socially excluded people in the city.

With growing sales, we are looking to expand our team and take on an additional mechanic who takes genuine pride in their work and is passionate about giving every customer an exceptional experience.

Our bike workshop is well-equipped with the latest professional tools; making your life easier and getting our customers’ bikes back on the road, where they belong, as quickly as possible.

Your role will entail building, repairing, servicing and selling bikes of all kinds, ensuring every day is packed with variety. Your technical or vocational training in a bike shop or similar environment will be backed up by hands-on experience. We’ll expect you to be a team player who’s continually focused on the needs of customers and Julian House.

Your hard work will be rewarded with a pension scheme, 20% shop discount, health plan and access to training courses. We’ll also make sure you get the support and opportunities to make the most of your future with us.

Benefits:

  • Cash health care plan
  • Up to 26 days annual leave (depending on length of service)
  • Employer pension contribution (up to 6% of your gross salary)
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Staff Award Scheme
  • 20% Discount at Julian House Shops

Julian House has a supportive culture, providing regular supervision and line management alongside externally facilitated reflective practice which enables staff to look after their own health and well-being whilst giving their best in their roles.
