Job Description:

Due to a long-standing staff member retiring, we are looking for a professional Area Sales Manager for the Midlands / Staffordshire area to maintain and develop further an established customer-base, selling our large portfolio of products of over 40 brands / 4,500 SKU’s. The role will include visiting shops on a fortnightly basis. We are looking for a results-driven, enthusiastic and ambitious person to build and maintain relationships with cycle shops. Experience in this field is important. The job includes a company car, a mobile phone, a tablet, a standard basic wage plus commission based on performance. We offer vast experience in the trade, and can offer the best support for the candidate to fulfil the role required.

Duties / Requirements / Job Include:

· Maintain, service and further develop a cycle-shop customer base in the Midlands / Staffordshire

· Opening of new accounts & development

· Keeping up to date on industry trends

· Company car, mobile phone, iPad, possible occasional overseas travel opportunities

· Providing regular feedback to management on customers/market trends

· Attending sales meetings, management meetings, exhibitions from time to time

· Spending some overnight stays away from home

· Full UK driving licence

· Working independently and also part of a small, strong team

· Knowledge of working with Microsoft Office

· Company pension included

· Work towards meeting monthly and annual company targets

· Maintain & develop journey plans and provide regular updates
