Digital Marketing Assistant

Location: Preston, UK


Ribble Cycles are expanding their digital team and are in search of a person who wants to learn the ropes of Digital Performance Marketing.

Hours: 5 days a week (occasional out of hours work)

Salary Range: Competitive subject to experience

Job Location: Preston, Lancashire (occasional travel required)

Who are we?

A unique opportunity has arisen to join an exciting fast paced direct to consumer bicycle manufacturer. Ribble Cycles, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers and distributors of high-performance road bikes, is looking for a passionate Digital Marketing Assistant to join the Digital Team.

The Role

The perfect candidate should be passionate about all things digital and have some experience in paid channels but also eager to improve their digital skills by managing different channels.

There will be plenty of on the job training to help to progress but some exposure to Paid Search is required.

Key Responsibilities

Manage PPC & Google Shopping campaigns

Monitor existing campaigns

Keyword research by analysing competitors and using tools to grow our account

Manage our Affiliate Marketing channel including maintaining contact with key affiliates and growing the channel.

Reporting on channels – weekly and ad-hoc reporting on ROI of channels and campaigns we are running

Introducing new campaigns on AdWords and benchmarking their performance reporting on wins and areas of improvement.

Analysing website traffic using Google Analytics

Keep up to date with the latest developments in PPC and wider digital industry.

Daily use of Google Analytics / Adverting platforms (AdWords/ Bing)

Updating and maintaining landing pages

Scheduling and running all social campaign across all the social networks.

Key Skills

Excel literate – be able to produce reports and measure performance

Good with numbers – you will be expected to manage ROI and work with digital metrics.

A passion for Digital Marketing

Good IT skills

Have a “best-in-class” mindset

Independent and confident with a get up and go attitude is a must! We’re a small, hands-on, energetic team that turns projects around quickly.

Excellent communication skills

Excellent attention to detail

A keen cyclist!

Google Certifications

Previous experience working on Google Shopping/PPC campaigns

Previous experience working on Paid Social

Previous experience working on SEO

Previous experience using a CMS
